Terms of Service

Effective July 3, 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a legal agreement between you and Lean6 Technology (“Lean6”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) governing your access to and use of RunSheets — our web application at runsheets.ca and our companion iOS, iPad, and Android apps (together, the “Service”).

By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you are using the Service on behalf of a production company, studio, or other organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization, and “you” includes that organization. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

RunSheets is a digital tool for film and television production teams to create, dispatch, and track set-decoration run sheets and purchase requests — recording the items a production sources, moves, photographs, and returns, along with their custody, condition, and disposition. We may add, change, or remove features over time.

2. Eligibility & accounts

  • You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.
  • You agree to provide accurate account information and to keep it current.
  • You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us promptly at hello@runsheets.ca of any unauthorized use.
  • Each account represents one individual. You may sign in with email and password, Google, or (on iOS) Apple.

3. Organizations, roles & members

The Service is organized around Organizations (studios) and the productions within them. An Organization administrator can invite members, assign roles (such as admin, buyer, decorator, and driver), and control access to productions and data.

  • The Organization is responsible for managing its members, the roles it grants, and the data those members enter and access.
  • If you are added to an Organization, its administrators may view, manage, and remove your access and the data associated with your work in that Organization.
  • You are responsible for having the authority and any necessary consents to add other people’s information (such as crew, driver, and vendor contact details) to the Service.

4. Plans, billing & payment

RunSheets is offered on a per-production basis. Some functions are free, while dispatching run sheets on a production requires activating that production on a paid plan (for example, Spot, Series, or Feature tiers). Each production is billed separately.

  • Fees, plan features, and any usage limits are described at the point of purchase and may change. We will give notice of material price changes.
  • Paid plans are processed by our payment provider, Stripe. You authorize us and Stripe to charge your selected payment method for the applicable fees and taxes.
  • Unless stated otherwise, fees are exclusive of applicable taxes, which you are responsible for paying.
  • Subscriptions renew according to the plan you select until cancelled. Wrapping or deactivating a production stops future charges for that production; you remain responsible for amounts already incurred.
  • Except where required by law, fees are non-refundable.

5. Your content

“Your Content” means the data, photos, signatures, receipts, and other materials you and your Organization submit to the Service. As between you and Lean6, you and your Organization retain all rights in Your Content.

You grant Lean6 a worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, store, process, transmit, display, and back up Your Content solely to operate and provide the Service to you, and as otherwise described in our Privacy Policy.

You are responsible for Your Content and represent that you have all rights and consents necessary to submit it — including, where it contains photographs of people, signatures, or other personal information of your crew, drivers, or vendor contacts, the authority to collect and upload that information.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms;
  • Upload content you do not have the right to upload, or that infringes others’ rights;
  • Upload another person’s personal information without appropriate authority or consent;
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other accounts, or other Organizations’ data;
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service;
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service, except as permitted by law;
  • Scrape, resell, or provide the Service to third parties except as expressly permitted;
  • Upload malicious code or use the Service to transmit harmful or unlawful material.

7. Our intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, and the RunSheets name and logo, is owned by Lean6 Technology and protected by intellectual property laws. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for your internal production operations. We reserve all rights not expressly granted.

8. Third-party services

The Service relies on third-party services, including Google Firebase and Google Cloud, Sign in with Google, Sign in with Apple, and Stripe, and may link to third-party tools such as map services. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party services.

9. Availability & changes

We work to keep the Service available and reliable, but we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of data loss. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue all or part of the Service, and we may release features that are still in development or labeled as beta. You are responsible for keeping your own copies of records that are important to you.

10. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will meet your requirements or that any errors will be corrected. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties, so some of these exclusions may not apply to you.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lean6 and its affiliates, officers, employees, and suppliers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service or these Terms will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us for the Service in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim, or CAD $100. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of these limitations may not apply to you.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Lean6 and its affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to Your Content, your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or the rights of a third party.

13. Suspension & termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, if required to protect the Service or other users, or if required by law.

Following termination, we may provide a reasonable period for you or your Organization to export data before it is deleted, subject to our retention obligations described in the Privacy Policy. Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification) will survive.

14. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information and is incorporated into these Terms. Where you submit personal information about others to the Service, you are responsible for doing so lawfully and with any required consents.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the effective date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the revised Terms.

16. Governing law & disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada applicable there, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. You agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Alberta, Canada for any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in any court of competent jurisdiction.

17. General

  • Entire agreement. These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and Lean6 regarding the Service.
  • Severability. If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
  • No waiver. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it.
  • Assignment. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
  • Force majeure. We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control.
